JavaScript, CSS, Bilder und Fonts bereit zum Ausliefern
Jede Web-Anwendung muss einen ganzen Haufen Assets – also JavaScript, CSS, Bilder und Fonts – ausliefern. Aber wie sorgt man dafür, dass diese Dateien optimal ausgeliefert werden? Lucas beschäftigt sich seit längerem mit diesem Thema im Rahmen des Open-Source-Projekts faucet-pipeline. Also löchert Robert ihn mit einer Reihe von Fragen zu Themen wie Dateigröße, über Bundling zu Caching – und wie faucet dabei hilft.
Robert Glaser is responsible for marketing at INNOQ, was previously a consultant himself and is invested in the development of ergonomic web applications. Product design, user experience, commodity AI, and culinary delights are among his special interests.
Lucas is a senior consultant at INNOQ and works on the architecture, conception, and implementation of web applications on the front and back end. He programs in Ruby and JavaScript and helps with technology decisions & the adoption of different NoSQL solutions. Lucas is one of the authors of the book “The Rails 7 Way”. You can hear his voice on the INNOQ podcast quite regularly. He does open source and community work (like organizing and teaching at the local CoderDojo).
