World Bank "REST" API

Stefan Tilkov,

Jon Udell reports the Worldbank now has an API, which is very cool.

Sadly, this isn't:

Next, we set the API url to http://open.worldbank.org/rest.php and since we want to retrive a list of countries in the API, we access the wb.countries.get method.

Excuse me while I'm crying.

Well, sad, but… where does he claim the API to be restful? ;)

Well, where did I claim that they claim so?

That’s beside the point. It’s just sad to see the wasted potential (disclaimer: they might be accidentally RESTful, I haven’t checked).
