Web Services, Purchase Orders, Data Sets, and Tools That Suck

Stefan Tilkov,

What a ride! It seemed to start with Ted Neward who linked to a post with the nice title “Returning DataSets from WebServices is the Spawn of Satan and Represents All That Is Truly Evil in the World”. This prompted a comment from Rickard Öberg, which in turn made Ted do a follow-up (linked to by yours truly, too), which made Doug Purdy go ironic, linked to by Dare Obsanjo; Ted misunderstands Doug, or so Dare claims, all finished up with Web services tools that suck (I happen to agree), although maybe they don’t, or they do … you just have to love this weblogging thing.
