Yet another bunch of Web services standards

Stefan Tilkov,

WS-Notification and WS-ResourceProperties/WS-ResourceLifetime - Web Services Notification and Web Services Resource Framework, from IBM, TIBCO, HP, and others, have been published today. Now I can see why IBM did not take part in WS-Eventing - while the two spec groups address different needs, they seem to have significant overlap. Mark Baker has some predictable comments that, as usual, make sense if you view HTTP as the transporttransfer protocol of choice.
