innoQ was founded in 1998. Since then, we have done consulting for numerous clients, nearly all of them being large organizations of the so-called Fortune 500. Our focus is on software architecture. We help our clients decide which technology to use, which tools are most appropriate for their specific needs, and how to define an architecture that allows them to build large-scale systems with high quality and the minimal amount of effort and cost.
During most of our work, we have found the generative approach to software development to be very well applicable in situations where powerful systems need to be built that have a life time that exceeds that of the underlying technology. In situations like these, being able to change the system's architecture without having to rebuilt large parts of the system is a huge gain.
Having built and used several generators in the past, we decided to turn the best of them into a product. The result is iQgen, innoQ's MDA-compliant, architecture-centric development tool.
