You can be sure that this is SAP’s way of trying to strangle a technology that scares the hell out of them. They are so behind everyone in that space that the only thing they can think off is to spend a little money to slow what will eventually make them irrelevant. If there is any smoke in this story, this is the smoke of a smoking gun.
