Savas Parastatidis links to a thread in the OASIS WS-Notification mailing list that argues for a separation of WS-N from WS-RF, which seems to be an exceptionally good idea IMO: Although I haven’t studied WS-RF yet, the dependency clearly raises the boundary not only for vendors thinking about implementing it, but also for users.
